About

I am Pankaj Kumar Chaturvedi,

I started my career in Amo (Deosar), a small backward village in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. I did my schooling in Deosar, Singrauli only. For graduation, I moved to Delhi to pursue BSc (Hons.) in Chemistry from Hindu College, University of Delhi. I had appeared in several MSc (Chemistry) entrance exams like IIT-JAM, JNU, BHU and DU and secured good ranks. Joining BHU i.e., Sarva Vidya Ki Rajdhani, was a dream for me, so I chose BHU over the others. Those two years of MSc have introduced me to the broader dimensions of life and Chemistry, where I qualified for CSIR-JRF (December 2017, AIR 52) and GATE (2019, AIR 81). Then, I cracked PhD interviews at IISER Mohali, IIT Kanpur, JNCASR, and IISc Bangalore. In August 2019, I joined the Department of Organic Chemistry, IISc Bangalore, to pursue my PhD (JRF) under the supervision of Prof. Uday Maitra, subsequently awarded with Prime Minister's Research Fellowship.
